I had visitors a few days ago and we went for a hike in the woods. It was a perfect day for it. We found wild blue berries and lots of interesting mushrooms. I'm trying to identify the black ones.

I was wondering what this purple flower was. When the red berries came out I realized it was Red Nightshade. They are going in the trash!

Visit

Walk in the woods

My daughter came for a visit and we had a lovely time. We went for a walk in the woods, collected wild blueberries, went antiquing, and had a dinner party.

We made Watermelon Basil drinks and threw in a few of the blueberries. Very yummy!
It was over much too soon.
